Best Lift is built on more than thirty years of experience in heavy handling. We don’t chase volume: we select. Every machine in our stock is inspected and overhauled in our own workshop — engine, transmission, hydraulics, spreader — and delivered ready to work. After the sale, we keep you running with spare parts from our own warehouse and OTR tyres, for which we are agents for Italy.

Reachstacker or empty container handler? Know the difference

A reachstacker is the workhorse of container terminals: telescopic boom with spreader, lifting laden containers (typically 42-45 tonnes in the first row), second-row capability and stacking 4-5 high. The right choice for ports, rail terminals and busy intermodal yards.

An empty container handler specialises in stacking empty containers up to 8 high: lower capacity (8-10 tonnes under the spreader), high speed in depots and storage yards.

A heavy-duty forklift truck handles palletised and outsized loads with forks outside the container world: steel, coils, precast concrete, timber.

Latest arrival: used CVS Ferrari F500 RS5 reachstacker, 2018, only 14,000 hours, 46 tonnes in the first row.
Also available: used Fantuzzi CS45KE reachstacker, 2007, 45 tonnes under the spreader in the first row, stacking five containers high.
We have reachstackers from several brands — Kalmar, CVS Ferrari and Fantuzzi — and Kalmar and Fantuzzi empty container handlers for stacking empty boxes. For heavy loads outside the container world we offer high-capacity forklift trucks by Fantuzzi, Kalmar, Hyster and FTMH, plus Kalmar and Terberg terminal tractors for yard traction.

Our range is completed by various industrial machinery, such as a 1 MW Simplex Load Bank, new and remanufactured Cummins, Volvo, Caterpillar and Deutz engines, and Terberg, Cummins and Volvo spare parts from our own warehouse.
