A machine parked in the corner of the yard still costs you something: it takes up space, it loses value every month, and sooner or later it has to be disposed of anyway. If you no longer need it, the best time to sell it is while it still works.

Best Lift buys directly — reachstackers, heavy forklifts, container handling machines and terminal tractors — and collects anywhere in Europe. We are not brokers and we will not put your machine in a shop window while you wait for a buyer: if it is of interest, we buy it.

Why sell to us

• the valuation starts from what the machine is worth on the used market, not from what it weighs
• collection and transport are ours to organise, with our hauliers: no low-loader to find, no permits to chase

What we need to value it

Send it all in one email:

• Make, model and year
• Hours from the hour meter — a photo of the meter is worth more than a figure typed out
• Photos — the four sides of the machine, the cab, the engine bay, the attachment, and any spot where you know there is a problem
• The identification plate, which confirms model and serial number
• Where the machine is, and whether it is still in service

The more precise you are about the faults, the closer the valuation will be to the final figure. Surprises at collection suit neither of us.

Frequently asked questions

Do you buy machines that no longer run?
Yes. We buy machines that are off the road, damaged or in need of recovery: some come back into service after an overhaul, others are worth their components. Send the photos and we will tell you straight away whether it is of interest.

Will you take our machine in part exchange?
Yes. If you are buying a machine from us, your used unit can go towards the payment: we value it, take it off the price and close the whole thing as one deal.

Will you take a single machine?
Yes. And whole fleets, when a company re-equips or closes a department.

How long between the offer and collection?
It depends on the destination and on the transport to be arranged. The constraint is almost always the low-loader, not us.

Do you collect outside Italy?
Yes, we collect anywhere in Europe.

Which makes interest you?
Fantuzzi, CVS Ferrari, Kalmar, Terex, Terberg, Hyster, Linde, Konecranes, SMV, and heavy and port handling equipment generally. If yours is another make, ask anyway.

We were going to strip it for parts — is that better?
Talk to us before you do. The complete machine is often worth more than the sum of its parts.
