Repairs and technical service on your own site
When a reachstacker stops, stopping the yard with it is not an option. Sending the machine somewhere else means organising an abnormal-load movement for a fault that can often be sorted out on site the same day.
So Best Lift’s service comes to the machine: our technicians work directly on your site, at your terminal or in the yard where the machine operates, with the experience of a company that has spent close to thirty years stripping down and rebuilding these machines to resell them.
What we work on
- Engine and transmission — diagnosis, repair, complete unit replacement
- Hydraulics — pumps, valve blocks, lift and tilt cylinders, leaks
- Spreaders and attachments — twistlocks, telescopic extension, controls, signalling
- Electrics and electronics — wiring, sensors, reading fault codes from the ECU
- Brakes, steering and axles
- Planned maintenance — for operators who would rather prevent downtime than chase it
The advantage of a company that also handles parts
A repair almost always stalls at the same point: the part nobody can find. Best Lift supplies new, used, original, OEM and aftermarket parts for Fantuzzi, CVS Ferrari, Kalmar, Terex, Terberg, Hyster and other makers, and stocks the components that fail most often.
The people arriving to diagnose the fault are the same people who can source the part. On machines that are out of production, where the manufacturer no longer answers, that is often the difference between repairing and scrapping. See our spare parts.
Where we work
Our technicians come to the machine where it operates. For jobs that need proper workshop equipment we draw on a network of partner workshops across Italy: there is no single site to reach, but the right shop near you.
We work abroad too, on machines we have sold and on others: requests reach us from the twenty-six countries where Best Lift has customers.
When a full overhaul makes more sense
If repairs keep coming and the machine stands still more than it works, fixing one fault at a time stops making sense. That is the point to consider a full overhaul: stripped down, inspected, worn components replaced, and handed back as a machine you can count on again. We will tell you when you are at that point — it is not in our interest to have you pay twice.
Frequently asked questions
Do you work on machines you did not sell?
Yes. What matters is the make and model, not where it was bought.
Which makes do you cover?
Fantuzzi, CVS Ferrari, Kalmar, Terex, Terberg, Hyster, Linde, Konecranes, SMV — the same makes we sell and stock parts for.
How quickly can you come?
It depends on the distance and on the fault. Describe it on the phone, with the error code if the ECU gives one: we can often work out what to bring, and that shortens things more than any general promise.
Do you offer planned maintenance?
Yes, on a schedule built around operating hours and the kind of duty the machine does.
Do we get a report on the work?
Yes, with what was done and which parts were replaced.
Do you work outside Italy?
Yes, we work abroad as well. Timing and arrangements are agreed up front, depending on the machine and the destination.
Call technical service
Before you write, have make, model, year and the fault code to hand if there is one: those are what let us tell you something useful on the first call.
