Simplex Triton HV-1000 Resistive Load Bank – 1 MW, New

A 1 MW resistive load bank, never used

A load bank exists to put a generator or a UPS under genuine load without connecting it to the installation: you apply a known load and check the machine holds it, at the rated output and for the rated time. It is the test no simulation replaces.

This Simplex Triton HV-1000 is new, with zero working hours.

Frequently asked questions

What load does it dissipate?
1,000 kW at 1.0 power factor, that is, purely resistive load.

What voltage and frequency?
4160 / 480 V, three phase, 60 Hz.

Is it used?
No, it is new: zero working hours.

What does it weigh and how big is it?
7,500 kg, 580 cm long, 250 cm wide, 285 cm high.

How is it cooled?
Forced air. It needs 35,000 CFM of airflow and an intake temperature no higher than 120 °F.

Do you arrange transport?
