Rental of reachstackers, heavy forklifts and container handlers
Not every lifting need is worth an investment. A breakdown that drags on, a contract that doubles your volumes, a yard that has to be cleared before a deadline: in all of these, what you need is a machine now, for a defined stretch of time — not a new asset on the balance sheet.
Best Lift rents machines from its own fleet — reachstackers, heavy forklifts, container handling equipment — on a dry rental basis: the machine arrives ready to work and your own people operate it. It is the simplest arrangement for a company that already has trained drivers and needs the equipment alone.
When renting beats buying
Four situations where a rental solves something an outright purchase would not:
- Downtime — while your own machine is under repair or waiting on a part
- Peaks in workload — seasonal or tied to a single contract
- Temporary yards and sites — where bringing in an owned machine makes no sense
- A real trial — before committing to a purchase, with the machine working your actual loads in your actual space
The rental period is agreed together, around the job you have to do.
What we rent
The same machines we sell, and they go through the same checks: reachstackers rated 40 to 46 tonnes, heavy forklifts up to 48 tonnes capacity, empty container handlers, terminal tractors. Availability moves, because the rental fleet is the sales fleet: it is always worth asking for the period you have in mind, even when the machine you want is not showing on the site.
What is included, what stays with you
The machine is delivered overhauled and ready to work, with the documentation its use requires. We arrange transport to your site through our hauliers — see transport and shipping.
You take on operation — with a driver holding the qualification your country requires — fuel, and proper use of the machine for the rental period. Insurance, routine maintenance and the condition the machine comes back in are set out in the contract, case by case: a machine working eight hours a day on a quay and one moving two containers a week cannot sit under the same terms.
Frequently asked questions
Do you rent with an operator?
No. Rental is dry: we supply the machine, your qualified people drive it.
How is the rental period decided?
Together, around the work you need to do. Tell us the dates you have in mind and we will tell you straight away whether the machine is free.
Is the rental fleet the same as the sales fleet?
Yes. That is why availability moves: a machine can be sold while it is out on rent, and if that is a possibility we say so up front.
Can we buy the machine we have been renting?
It comes up often, especially after a trial rental. We work it out together, taking account of the hours put on during the period.
Do you deliver throughout Italy?
Yes. Transport is quoted on distance and on the size of the machine.
Do you rent abroad?
Case by case: destination, period and type of machine all count.
Ask about availability
Tell us which machine you need, for what loads and for how long, and we will come back with what is actually free.
